Day 1 Leg 2 - Danville Regional to Woodward Field

The second part of the first leg (or, is this the 2nd leg? I can never figure that out!), was after I refueled at Danville Regional, and continued SW toward Camden, SC and Woodward Field. For most of this part, I was traversing North Carolina and its rolling hills of the Piedmont range. The first 25% of the track I had to create since I forgot to turn on Ramblr, but it's basically correct. The statistics didn't quite catch up with my addendum, so they are a time of 2:22 and a distance of 187 miles. I was definitely spoiled with the very smooth air for most of the trip. I had a late start so I landed at Woodward Field much later than planned. Luckily, the FBO (the people that run the airport) were still there, so I refueled, prepared the plane for an overnight stay, then borrowed the crew car to head for a hotel for the night. I was tired, but I managed to get out of the very cold North and down to a mild and friendly South!
