This is the first leg of my second day of a long cross-country flight originating in Stevensville, Maryland. Most of this track was over low, rolling and tree-covered hills. I also had a 'whoops' with my camera, accidentally (and unknowingly) changing the exposure to 5-stops under! Yikes. So, if some of these look highly tweaked, it's because they were. I'm amazed I got anything out of them, to be frank. Again, I had mostly smooth air, but there were enough bumps that I kept the speed down, averaging only 61 kts (about 70 mph). I stretched this leg out to almost 4 hours, so I was pretty tired when I got to Thomaston, GA. I had brought a sandwich with me, so when I arrived I refueled then visited the pilot's lounge (in a very nice FBO) which had a microwave. I heated my sandwich and then inhaled it. I managed a very quick turn-around, even including my quick meal.
