This is the second leg of my second day of a long cross-country flight originating in Stevensville, Maryland. Most of this track, as was the previous one, was over low, rolling and tree-covered hills. I left Thomaston-Upson Airport near Thomaston, GA and was headed for Andalusia, AL. The problem I have been having with my camera during the first leg of the day still wasn't discovered, so I was taking pictures that were 5 stops underexposed. To get them to show up at all, the resulting images may look highly tweaked and that's because they were! For this leg, my pace stayed about the same, averaging 65 knots (75 mph). This was a shorter leg (as I tend to make the afternoon leg shorter to account for wear and tear on me), only 2 hrs 41 min.
